Treasure Hunt
Reflection:
I had a good experience from this project both as a team member and as an individual. My experience as a team was good because I felt like I did my share of the work and I did not feel left out. Also I worked well with my group members which really helped make me as a group member have a better time with the project, not only did I work well with my partners but I feel that we communicated well with each other. As an individual my experience was good, I relearned plotting coordinates and converting between different ways to format the equation of the line the standard form and slope-intercept form. As well as writing equations from a graph and then graphing lines from equations. Also restricting equations using domain and range. I did not know how to create a treasure map with fixed pathways with clues and equations, restricted by domain and range that connected each location to the next one. I think that this project really helped me grow on all these skills along with my problem skills and it helped me on my individual learning so learning what tricks helps me to learn and work with others. I think that this project was very denal finshal for me.
There were many little types of learning in this project that did not just include math, for example there were thing like the skills of collaboration, problem solving, and developing Habits of a Mathematician. This project took a lot of talking to each other, being an advocate, asking for help, and things like asking questions. If we did not communicate with each other we would not have be able to complete this project. Problem solving was another very important part to this project, especially for our group because one of our members did not do his share of the project which it made it harder for me and my partner. We came across many problems such as things like messing up our map, having difficulty with our domain and range and equations, and we hard time doing the other teams scavenger hunt. This was because some of their equations were wrong some of their clues were missing and the other team did not have their domain and range. Another reason we had a hard time with the others groups scavenger hunt was because my group was a little unsure about solving the equations which also made that hunt harder for us.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Woo
I am writing to you because I have figured out a solution to your Cookie Dough situation. If you have 50 dozen iced cookies, and 75 dozen plain cookies, you will be able to make the most profit at $212.50. This fits into all your parameters and you will be able to make the most profit 125 cookies in 15 hours. My conclusion is that you will make the most money if you sell 50 iced cookies and 75 plain cookies. Thanks for this great opportunity.
Sincerely,
Atlantia Aquarian

During this Cookies Project I needed to figure out how much dough, time, icing, and plain cookies it takes to make the most profit. In order to find the profit I had to use three different ways by using subtraction, addition, and division. While doing this project I learned how to graph, and intercept points.
